University of Nebraska at Kearney.  The university is committed to undergraduate teaching and research, international study opportunities, community engagement, and meaningful –faculty-student interactions. The position will focus on undergraduate teaching with the potential for some courses with a graduate component. The successful candidate will be required to teach undergraduate social work courses, maintain an active research agenda, attain graduate faculty status, participate in recruitment and advisement of students, serve on departmental and university committees, promote program development, contribute to assessment efforts, and advise student organizations.  Required:  Ph.D. in Social Work or related field, a Masters of Social Work from a CSWE accredited institution, and a minimum of two years of post-MSW experience. For appointment at the Associate Professor rank, a record of publications and/or active external funding is expected.  Preferred:  teaching experience, demonstrated commitment to research and publications, potential for securing external funding, and effective communication and collaboration skills.   Start Date:  August 14, 2017, Competitive salary and benefits.
