The Biology Department at Dickinson College seeks a vertebrate ecologist to fill a full-time, one-year visiting professor position beginning July 1, 2017. Teaching responsibilities will include an introductory biology course with laboratory (Organisms, populations, and ecosystems), and an upper-level ecology course with laboratory. Opportunities for student-faculty research are available. The successful candidate must complete the Ph.D. by fall 2017. The ability to create inclusive learning environments for an increasingly diverse student body will be an important characteristic of the successful candidate.
