The Human and Evolutionary Biology section within the Department of Biological Sciences, in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, seeks applications for a full-time teaching-track teaching lecturer position for the 2017-18 academic year. The section oversees the Human Biology major, which seeks to educate students with respect to the structure and function of the human organism within the context of development, environment, pathology and evolution. Towards this end, we seek a scholar who has experience teaching courses in the following areas: Anatomy, Physiology, and Exercise Physiology. Initial appointments are fixed-term, with the possibility of renewal contingent on need, performance and review by the department faculty, its chair, section head, and the Dornsife deans. Dornsife provides opportunities for promotion based on demonstrated teaching excellence and service to the program, school, and university.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field, e.g. Physiology, Biology, Kinesiology, or Neuroscience, with demonstrated teaching experience in one of these areas.
