The UC San Diego Data Science Undergraduate Program (jointly with CSE, Mathematics, and Cognitive Science) invites applications for a ‘tenure-track’ Assistant Teaching Professor (whose official title is “Lecturer with Potential Security of Employment”). The teaching faculty series carries a stronger emphasis on teaching and scholarly activity related to education.
Successful candidates will be outstanding educators and should provide evidence of effective and innovative undergraduate teaching in data science. A Ph.D. or advancement to candidacy in Computer Science & Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related disciplines is required at the time of application.
