Assistant Professor of English/Writing Program Administrator: Fall 2017, tenure track

Requirements: Ph.D. in Composition and Rhetoric by August 2017, two years of teaching excellence, and scholarship demonstrating a clear agenda in Writing Program Administration.

Responsibilities: 2/2 teaching load, including composition pedagogy courses; course development; student advising; and assigned service responsibilities. Candidate will be expected to assess Writing Program objectives and outcomes; work with Department Chair in coordinating core writing courses; develop a Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) program that will include writing intensive courses in each major; and work closely with the AVP for Undergraduate Education and Assessment to improve undergraduate instruction.
