The College of Business, Pacific University, Oregon invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor of marketing to serve the undergraduate and graduate business programs beginning in Fall 2017.
The successful candidate will have an earned doctorate in marketing or related field from an AACSB accredited doctoral program (ABD candidates will be considered if evidence of successful completion can be provided before the start date), excellent teaching credentials, a strong potential for research that will lead to scholarly work publishable in refereed journals, a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate education, and a demonstrated commitment to working with a diverse student population.
Preference will be given to candidates who can teach core marketing courses, such as principles of marketing, marketing research, consumer behavior, product management, international marketing, and advertising and promotion. Ability to teach digital marketing is a plus. A typical course load is 5 courses per year. We seek candidates interested in engaging the local business community as well as building international opportunities for our students and faculty.
