The Duke University Department of Classical Studies, located in Durham, North Carolina, seeks applicants for the full-time position of Assistant Professor to contribute to our Classical Studies graduate and undergraduate teaching in ancient Mediterranean archaeology and in other courses in classical studies and ancient history. Qualified applicants must have a Ph.D. in Archaeology and fieldwork experience that informs their research; they must engage with material culture in its contexts and demonstrate research experience in Roman western provinces.
