The Department of Anthropology and Sociology at Kutztown University invites applications for a full-time Archaeologist to fill a one-year, temporary position in 2016-2017. The successful applicant will teach Cultural Anthropology, Historical Archaeology and North American Indians (post-contact) in Fall 2016. In Spring 2017, Cultural Anthropology and Introduction to Archaeology will be taught, as well as an elective which is commensurate with the Department’s needs. Four classes (three preparations) will be taught each semester. Required: A Ph.D. in Archaeology and at least two years’ college-level teaching experience. Since the possibility of a field school in Summer 2017 exists, we prefer candidates who are able to teach in the field.
